Update on the assistance fund
Through your support and the generosity of the family, a total of GBP1,500 have been collected so far. The parents have kindly made this fund available to the Scottish Mission Youth Department in order to be used in such a way as to help young people from the Scottish Mission who would like to attend this year's Mission Project and who otherwise would not be able to participate. If you would like more information about this, please write to this email address.
Celebration of a Life Lived to the Full
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank you all for the love and support shown. It really means a lot!
Assistance Fund: An assistance fund is in the process of being set up to help some of the causes Karoline was most passionate about. Instead of flowers, the family are encouraging donations to help start this fund. Due to the unexpected nature of the circumstances we do not have the full details of the fund yet; these will be announced when finalised.
To Listen to Karoline's voice: Karl has just posted here a recording of Karoline singing a very much loved song. To listen, follow the link.

The NEWS as it happened: 'It is with tremendous sadness that we heard of Karoline Brown (a member of the Dundee church) who was killed in a road accident whilst driving from Perth on her way to see Karl (her fiancé) in Forfar on Wednesday evening (29th November).
A well known and much loved and active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Scotland, Karoline was also a member of the Scottish Mission Executive Committee. She grew up in the Glasgow church, then studied and worked in Aberdeen, Inverness and recently Blairgowrie (where she also lived), as an occupational therapist.
She had very recently become engaged, news which had excitedly been shared with friends on the day she died.
Her pastor said 'Karoline was a bubbly, effervescent young lady with a passion for our church youth. Her smile lit up every situation.' She recently led a group of Scottish Mission youth to Riga, Latvia, for a week long study of the church plant there.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her parents, Reta and Allen Brown, her sister and brother in law Sylvia & Panos, her grandmother Trudi, her fiancé Karl Da Silva and his family.'
