Project Romania '05

So, what all was accomplished during our trip? Well, here is a brief summary:

* assisting with the building of the 2 (of three) houses affected by floods (under ADRA supervision)
* renovating and equipping of the creche e.g. complete renovation of the bathroom, activity and one dormitory room, kitchen and entrance way; building of outdoor play area and equipping with adequate toys, equipping with new furniture throughout, toys, fridge; installing of new PVCU throughout the building.
* part refurbishment of the kindergarten (PVCU windows) and donating of school uniform jackets (donated by the Morris Academy)
* Vacation Bible School with over 30 children attending
* Distribution of food to at least 7 families (on Thursday night by a small group from our team)
Some were there, others wished to have been there, while others were not able to be there! So, we asked Maroria to share some of the highlights of the trip with the rest of us.
