6. DETAILS of the Camporee:
- Program of the week here.
- The Sabbath offering will be to support the Pathfinder programme in Israel - In Israel there are about 130 children under the age of 13 in the church. After the 2006 Pathfinder Camporee in Denmark 2 clubs were organised but without equipment they could not survive. They now have restarted 4 small clubs in four cities but have no supplies or any materials translated into Hebrew. They need equipment for camps, honours, ropes and to equip and train leaders.
- Market Day Proceeds - Children’s Divisions and Evangelism Training Centre at EAVA school in Sudan – the EAVA church school has no children’s Sabbath School meeting rooms nor any real programme for any of the children below academy age. The project is to renovate an existing out building to become both a permanent children’s Sabbath School and training centre for the academy youth. Next year we hope to be able to introduce the Pathfinder programme into South Sudan and if so we may be able to link the new Pathfinders with some part of this project. At Camporee we will ask Steve Cooper, ADRA-TE director, to introduce this to those present.
